Missouri 811 is proud to announce our sponsorship of Keegan Brewer, a 21-year-old Missouri race car driver with a story rooted in family, passion, and dedication. Just like racing, safe digging takes preparation, precision, and teamwork. Together, we’re spreading the word that “Safety is in Your Hands. Every Dig. Every Time.”
Meet Keegan Brewer
Keegan Brewer, a 21-year-old racer from Missouri, grew up surrounded by motorsports. Racing runs in his family. His grandfather was a national champion in the 1970s, and Keegan has carried on that legacy since starting in go-karts at age six. By age 12, he was behind the wheel of micros and has been competing ever since.
“It’s a big family affair for us. Racing is one of the main things we do together,” Brewer shared, reflecting on how his grandfather and uncle influenced his journey.
Today, Keegan races primarily at Sweet Springs Motorsports Complex in Sweet Springs, Missouri, but also travels across the Midwest to tracks in Illinois, Nebraska, and Oklahoma. Fans can catch him at Sweet Springs on Saturday nights or follow his racing updates on Facebook and Instagram.
Promoting 811 On and Off the Track
Keegan doesn’t just represent Missouri 811 while racing, he actively promotes safe digging in the community as well. Recently, he joined the Missouri 811 team at the State Fair in Sedalia, where he met with fans, shared his racing journey, and spread the “Call Before You Dig” message.
While at the fair, Keegan also had the chance to reconnect with Governor Mike Kehoe, a longtime family friend. Their conversation highlighted the importance of community, safety, and the shared values that fuel both racing and Missouri 811’s mission.
How Missouri 811 Sponsorship Helps
Racing is an expensive sport, and sponsorship support helps drivers like Keegan compete at the highest level. Missouri 811’s partnership has allowed him to invest in critical upgrades to his car and equipment.
“811 has helped me a ton. It takes a lot of stress off, and it’s really nice to know I can support an organization that brings real value to Missouri and across the nation.”
With the sponsorship, Keegan purchased premium FK rear shocks, upgraded to a Lineman stock motor, and covered travel expenses to compete at tracks across the region. These improvements have already boosted his speed and performance.
Career Highlights
Keegan’s dedication has paid off with a strong track record:
- 3 Points Championships
- 28 Feature Wins
- 40 Heat Race Wins
He still remembers his most memorable moments on the track: winning preliminary night at the Show-Me Showdown and competing in the John Hinck Championship at Sweet Springs, the very first race where he ran in the A Class division.
More Than Just Racing
For Keegan, racing is about more than cars and competition. It’s about preparation, safety, and teamwork.
“My biggest pre-race ritual is making sure the car is ready, checking tire pressures, and then sitting down with my grandpa to take a breath before the race.”
That same preparation is what Missouri 811 promotes every day: plan ahead, stay safe, and always call before you dig.
Off the track, Keegan is equally committed to his future. He will graduate in December with a degree in Mechanical Engineering, a field that complements his passion for racing. This showcases his dedication to hard work and precision, values Missouri 811 also champions.
Connecting Racing and Safety
Keegan’s journey on the racetrack reflects Missouri 811’s mission:
- Preparation matters – whether setting up a car or planning a digging project.
- Teamwork matters – success comes from everyone doing their part.
- Safety matters – just like racers double-check their equipment, homeowners and contractors must check with 811 before breaking ground.
